Privacy notice
Short version: We collect your email address and which line you signed up for, so we can email you when that line launches. We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to store the list and Cloudflare to host the site. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
1. Who we are
ProMeNow is a brand operated by Ahmed El-Qady, sole proprietor, based in Egypt. The site at promenow.app is the umbrella for several digital-product lines (ProMeNow Career, Moments, Events, Suppliers, Studio, Learn). For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
2. What we collect on this site
When you submit a waitlist form, we collect:
- Your email address — what you typed in the form.
- Which line you signed up for — career, moments, events, or suppliers.
- Your IP address and User-Agent — automatically logged by Cloudflare for abuse prevention. Retained for up to 30 days, then aggregated.
We do not use cookies on this site today. We do not collect your name, location, or any other identifier unless you write it to us in an email.
3. Why we collect it (legal basis)
Consent. When you submit a waitlist form, you are asking us to email you about that line. That is the only thing we use the email for. Under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), and equivalent laws elsewhere, this is processing on the basis of your consent — which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We use these third-party processors. Each has its own privacy policy that also applies to your data:
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — stores the waitlist and sends launch emails. Kit privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosts this site and runs the form-submission backend. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves Source Serif 4 for display text. Google may log your IP. Google privacy policy.
We do not sell your data, run ad-tracking pixels, or share your email with anyone outside this list.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After deletion, the record is removed from Kit within 30 days. Cloudflare's abuse logs roll off on Cloudflare's own schedule (typically days, not months).
6. Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Confirm what data we hold about you (right of access).
- Delete your data (right to erasure / "right to be forgotten").
- Export your data in a machine-readable format (right to data portability).
- Correct inaccurate data (right to rectification).
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Unsubscribe from any email — every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link via Kit.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
7. Children
This site and its products are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted an email, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
We are based in Egypt. Kit operates from the United States; Cloudflare operates globally. Submitting your email means your data may be stored and processed in the US and other countries that may have different privacy protections than your own. We rely on the standard contractual clauses (or equivalent safeguards) that Kit and Cloudflare put in place with their EU/UK customers.
9. Marketplace purchases (Etsy, Gumroad, Payhip)
When ProMeNow Career and other lines go live, products are sold on third-party marketplaces (Etsy, Gumroad, Payhip). Those marketplaces are independent data controllers — your purchase is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. We only see what the marketplace exposes to sellers (typically: order ID, buyer username or first name, shipping country if applicable, the product purchased). We do not export marketplace data into Kit or any other system without your separate consent.
10. Changes to this notice
We will update this page when we change how we handle data. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes (new processors, new categories of data) will be announced to subscribers via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
