Terms of use
Short version: This site is a coming-soon page for the ProMeNow product family. You can submit your email to join a launch list — that's the only thing the site does today. Nothing is for sale here. Products are sold on Etsy, Gumroad, and Payhip; their terms govern those purchases. Be reasonable, don't abuse the form, and we're good.
1. Who you are agreeing with
These terms are between you and Ahmed El-Qady, sole proprietor, operating the ProMeNow brand from Egypt. We refer to ourselves as "we" or "ProMeNow" below. By using promenow.app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. What this site is (and isn't)
promenow.app is currently a coming-soon site. It exists to:
- Describe the ProMeNow brand and product lines.
- Let you join a waitlist for a specific line so we can email you at launch.
It is not a storefront. You cannot buy anything on this site. When products go on sale, they will be listed on third-party marketplaces — initially Etsy, Gumroad, and Payhip. Those purchases are governed by the marketplace's terms and our marketplace section below.
3. Joining a waitlist
Submitting your email on a line's form means you're asking us to email you about that line. We will only use your email for that purpose. You can unsubscribe from any email we send. See our privacy notice for the full data-handling story.
You agree to provide a real, working email address that you control. Submitting other people's emails, fake addresses, or spam-bait addresses is not allowed.
4. Acceptable use
Don't do these things to the site:
- Submit forms automatically (bots, scripts, scraped lists) without our written permission.
- Try to overwhelm the form-submission backend or any other endpoint.
- Use the site to distribute malware, phishing, or anything illegal.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the parts of the site that aren't already public HTML/CSS.
- Scrape content for training AI models without our written permission.
We may rate-limit, block, or remove anyone who does these things. We're a small shop and the abuse budget is small.
5. Intellectual property
ProMe and ProMeNow are unregistered trademarks of Ahmed El-Qady. All site content (text, images, layout, code that we wrote) is © 2026 Ahmed El-Qady, all rights reserved, except where a third-party license applies (notably the Source Serif 4 font, served by Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License, and Calibri font files used for Word-compatible previews).
You may quote short excerpts (under 50 words) with attribution and a link back. You may not republish whole pages, mirror the site, or claim the brand is yours.
6. Marketplace purchases
When you buy a ProMeNow product on Etsy, Gumroad, Payhip, or any other marketplace, the contract for that sale is between you and the marketplace (acting as Merchant of Record where applicable), not directly with us. The marketplace's terms, refund policy, and dispute resolution apply.
Each ProMeNow product listing on a marketplace will state what's included, what file formats you'll receive, what license you have to use it, and what the refund window is. Read the listing. Where the listing and these terms conflict on a purchase-specific point, the listing wins.
7. No professional advice
ProMeNow products (resume templates, career packs, event templates, planning aids, etc.) are tools and templates. They are not legal, medical, financial, immigration, or career-coaching advice tailored to your specific situation. You're responsible for adapting them to your own circumstances, and for getting qualified professional advice when your situation calls for it.
8. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We try to keep it up, accurate, and free of errors, but we don't warrant any of those things. The waitlist backend may be unavailable from time to time without notice. We don't guarantee any particular product will ship, on any particular date, in any particular form. Vision lines (Moments, Events, Suppliers, Studio, Learn) are explicitly subject to validation gates — they may never ship.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or the waitlist. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us through this site in the prior 12 months (which, for the coming-soon site, is zero) or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these kinds of caps. If yours doesn't, the cap doesn't apply to you, and your statutory rights apply unchanged.
10. Indemnification
If your use of the site (in particular, any acceptable-use violation) causes us to be sued or to incur a third-party claim, you agree to cover our reasonable legal costs and damages from that specific incident.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes that can't be resolved by friendly email will be brought before the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt — except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to use your home jurisdiction's courts (which, if you're an EU/UK consumer, you do).
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced via the homepage or by email to waitlist subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
13. Contact

Note: These terms are written in plain language. They are not legal advice. If you are advising others or relying on this document for compliance, consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
